Been wanting to do some Full Metal Alchemist fanart for a while, but wanted to do something extra special if I was.
Different style, single layer in Painter7. Not bad for something done in one day... Maybe I'll do more portraits like it.
He's supposed to be doing the ol' alchemy thing with his hands, but it doesn't look as evident as I'd hoped (and wah. With the sparks you can't see his automail very well. Just take my word for it that it's there.) Yay for pretty golden eyes. Yah for braids (*has one*) Yah for pulling crap from the ass.
*scrubs face* I'll remember what I wanted to say about this after I submit it, just wait and see.

Fantastic job of putting anime into a realistic style, and the hair is fantastic. On the other hand he does look effiminate, like more then Envy effeminate. He's supposed to be young and all but.... Otherwise I think you did a fantastic job mind, and I'm faving it because it's a great piece of work. I just don't think the manga tendancy to make men look like woman/girls translates very well to a realistic style I suppose.
