Thanks >_<! I read and reread his Inspiration page so many times it's burned into the inside of my eyelids. It's the sort of thing you can see in your minds eye instantly, but finding a way to render it (especially in RBG) is a raging challenge. I must have repainted that brown at least a dozen times before I felt satisfied.

Indeed, I'm the one responsible for all of Temy's physicalities. You really captured the black "red" of his tone without making him really overly bronzey, which is exactly how I pictured him - and the brightness of his wings are almost gritty, which I absolutely adore.

Good job. :D

Not only is Temyrth's color just right on, to what I envision, but M'tej is just... Right there. Right right there. Thank you for doing such a marvelous job. I even love the boots! And his -knife- is in there! :)

That's Dex's man right thar! BWAAHAHAHA. Now he is the envy of the town. Just what I needed. ^^ Like drivin' a new sports car... Vroom vroom. ;)

Definitely love Temyrth's color. Carries a lot of what I just could not seem to capture. :) Sooo perdy.

Is it dumb I'm even impressed with the ground? ;) I have such huge issues with backgrounds. It's just so whole and complete, though, they fit together so nicely. Now, if only I could jump into the damn picture...

Grounds drive me nuts, too. I've been trying to beat the crap out of myself and FORCE myself to do them, and do them often, and then do them ALONE, without the distracting element of people or flowers on them.

Speed-painting helps a lot with loosening you up. Crimeny, look at stuff I did just last year and feel my shame >_<.

Also: I had to repaint goddamn Temyrth four times. I swear to god, he might have been fun but I'm not sure I would have had the patience to figure him out the first time around if I weren't getting paid to persevere. (Though have you noticed this, too? Where, once you get the coloring on a person/creature once, it's so much easier the second time around to draw it?)
